There are many  people that I met in FECA Enugu zone, and among them, there are two individuals that I want to pick out and write about. This is because, while I was serving as an executive in FECA Enugu, the two of them made a huge impact in my life, though not just me, but all of us who were serving during the tenure. These individuals are Barr. Chiazam Udomba (Azam) and Mrs Chizurum Ezeaku (Romzy). I call them the Romzazam Squad. Two Men Squad.

I jotted down the words of this stroy myself, and the speakers were not aware that I was writing their words. So everything in this story contains some of the adventures and the hassles that these pioneers of FECA Enugu zone went through while serving during the afore years. Everything in this story, I feel like saying it, are top secrets. Wink. So stop here if you don't want to know.

There was one time, during Fire Conference, 2021, when senior members had a congress with the congressmen of the house. I happened to be there. I don't want to tell the entire story, I just want to hint on what it feels like to have congress with senior members.

In the beginning, the Enugu Zonal Coordinator, 2020-2022, Onyekwelu Kenechukwu (Kelzy), asked all congressmen to introduce themselves chapter by chapter... So we did so. When it got to the high table, consisting of the zonal coordinator and the zonal secretary, (Kelzy and Ani Mmesoma respectively, they did introduce themselves. Then one of the senior friends stood. His name is Chiazam Udomba but they call  him Azam. I have not spoken to him one on one. In fact, I don't know anything about him save the face that he served as a one-time zonal coordinator in FECA Enugu and he features as a frequent guest minister in many of the programs that FECA Enugu hosts, such as Fire Conferences, zonal retreats, reunions, etc. I learned that he was the zonal coordinator of FECA Enugu zone during the 2012-2014 tenure. Of recent, I learnt that he married a FECAite in the year 2021. 

"I noticed that when you were introducing yourselves, you did not add your tenure", said Azam. "Please, you are not going to be president forever. The office you're occupying now, is not going to be like that forever. So next time you're introducing yourselves the FECA style, add your tenure. Our tenure was 2012-2014 when we served as zonals. I'm so much in Congress mood right now."

He stood up. The microphone still in his hands, he paced out of the table in his peculiar gait, "I am now in Congress mood. If you know you did not come with your complete congressmen, stand up. All presidents. If you know you congressmen are not complete, don't waste ,my time. Be fast my friend."

There was a rustling of chairs on the floor as some persons began to stand. After they stood Azam continued. 

"If your Prayer Secretary is not here, keep standing", said Azam. "Because this is Fire Conference and there is noooo way you will be coming to Fire Conference without your Prayer Secretary. There are so many punishments that I can unleash on you Man Of God. How can you come to Fire Conference without your Power House? Fire Conference is where we come and we pray. See eh, Zonal, when I was the zonal, there was no how any president would have the mind to come to congress without his complete congressmen. Are you mad? Like, are you sick? Are you bold enough to step into congress venue without your complete congress house?! How you dare! How? I don't know the kind of hand that you are using on your people right now, but I can tell you that I have one thousand and one punishments that I can unleash on you as a chapter president for not coming to congress with your complete leaders, and especially your prayer secretary. Because it is a crime to the vision of FECA. You have the gut, the audacity, to look at me and rant excuses to my face! How dare you! Man of God, why are you not with your complete congressmen?"

Azam was now facing the FECA Odenigbo chapter president in 2020-2022 tenure, Arinze Dominic. He faced him eyeball to eyeball and they looked as if they want to brawl. I noticed that Arinze was tucking his white plain logn sleeved shirt into his trousers and he was not even smiling. He began to respond to the question and was interrupted immediately.

"Man of God, I've not seen your face before", said Azam. "Are you new to leadership?"

Arinze nodded.

"No wonder." Azam paced away to look at Romzy, his zonal secretary, that year, who is looking intently at the Odenigbo president that is new to leadership. It was as if they gave a Fresher something to handle and funny enough the thing given to the Fresher is the job of a chapter president. Chapter president. Like, chapter president to a Fresher!!

"Man of God, I don't know why you are new in this vision. Assuming you are not new I would have given you the kind of punishment befitting a culprit in this vision. See, if your zonal is not punishing you guys properly, I can show him many different punishments that will make you afraid of coming to zonal meetings without your complete congressmen. See, zonal, even shoes, there are punishments that if carried out on these defaulters, you will have bags of shoes, clothes and things that when you sell them you will realize lots of money in one night. "

I noticed that Kelzy, the zonal coordinator smirked. he is a business tycoon and I think he understands the language of money very well. When I was not a congressman in FECA Nsukka, I used to visit FECA Aku Road. That time, Kelzy was the Aku Road chapter president, in 2018-2020 tenure. In all the sermons that I heard him anchor, there was no time he would not divert into business, money, investment, financial growth, savings, wealth, sacrifice, betametaphalagia. Never once has he spoken to some group of people without drifting into something financial. Even in FECA Nsukka, he preaches the topic given to him  but he must talk about wealth at some point, because it is now a part of him; he is passionate about wealth to the point that he cannot help but talk about it. When something is a part of a man, he tells the story again and again, in a new language each time. You can never get bored hearing it.

I looked at the Zonal Secretary, 2020-2022 in Enugu zone, Miss Ani Mesoma, and I observed that she was sitting very quietly. I have known very little about her life. I think we have a connection. The two of us: She and I. The two of us joined FECA in 2014 (and she started living alone and working in 2017 while I started living alone and working in 2016. We must have something profound in common. A story to tell. I must find out.

I glanced at Romzy. She was relaxed, calmly taking a sip of water seldomly whilst listening to Azam. There was a brown Bible in from of her on the table and the Bible was opened. She seem to be preparing a very long sermon.

Azam's words to Arinze were so mean and Azam looked as though his ominous intents got thwarted by the consequential innocence of Arinze's sheer maladroity. He took a deep breathe and backwardly went to the table. Without saying another word, he dropped the microphone on the table. 

Kelzy picked up the microphone.
